Hunting for Shiny pokemon is hard.... ;v;

Okay, so I've been trying to hunt for shinies.  So far...In Pokemon Black, I found a random shiny Magnemite.  This was the best thing to ever happen to me in Pokemon.

Well, not really.  The very next month, after I beat Pokemon White 2, I was walking around the grass...I was honestly trying to cut a tree in my way, and out of the blue, a shiny Tangela appeared.

Why do these things keep happening to me?  I don't understand...I'm usually don't get very good luck.

Then I caught a Camerupt with Pokerus, and then I finally ran out of luck since ORAS came out. I've been trying to hatch a shiny Treecko in White 2 and I HAVE GOTTEN NO LUCK WHATSOEVER. I also am trying to complete the Pokedex in Alpha Sapphire so I can hatch a shiny Trapinch.  But, for some odd reason, my good luck comes when I'm not expecting it...  And when I try to hatch a shiny like a shiny Totodile or a shiny Treecko, I don't get as good luck as when I'm just running around in the grass in circles.  It's very odd.
